Kids gardens sprouting

Glen came by yesterday for a nice visit. He looks great and his mind is as sharp as ever. We checked into composting, recycling and some other things on the internet. I told him I woke up feeling creative and was dying to do something really funky, but my energy level faded after lunch.

But after Glen left, I took Che into the front yard and was watching her jump in the long grass, when Cage came by from next door to see the kitty. We decided to cut the grass. He went across the road and borrowed an old fashion push mower (offered yesterday by a neighbor). Then he helped cut the grass and even used the gas weed wacker along the fence and down the side of the house. When I gave him $5 and he was thrilled because he was going camping overnight.
