Pueblo “Parade of Lights”

An absolutely fantastic time tonight with all the kids and adults who participated decorating, driving & walking in the “Parade of Lights” event tonight. There were 78 entries and we were #40. After a very busy day we managed to get in line around 3:30 so we could add the last bits to the “V”. She looked magnificent I must say. The kids had lots to do and did an awesome job. It got a little hectic at times, which I’ll chalk it up to the candy and sugar drinks., but thanks to the kids trampoline (next door) & some pizza we managed to wear off a bit of that energy. With all the tasks at hand we had everyone making, cutting, building, tin foiling and a whole bunch of other stuff. Sitting in the line up we had way too much fun. Cage got the sound system set up and everyone enjoyed some Christmas music while adding the final touches. We did it and it was great. Thanks to everyone who helped pull it off! Rod drove the “V” while I walked and danced with the kids behind. We had way too much fun! We’re already planning next year.

It snowed at Pueblo House today!

Had loads of fun with the kids today decorating the RV for the upcoming “Parade of Lights”. Thanks to Noemi for coming up with the design of the tree branches and paper snowflakes. The kids had a ball and the big kids were able to enjoy watching them get excited. We’ll be back at it on Friday afternoon. Look forward to being in the parade and sending an open invitation to the kids who might want to join in and sing with us.
