A whole bunch of donated instruments from Devon

Thanks to Devon (who has been involved and watching OTRF grow for many months now)  in Denver, we will have a livelier 5th street when these donated instruments fall into the hands of some excited kids. Thank you to Devon and her family for filling a huge need. Each instrument came with its own story she so graciously typed up for the music house.

Attached are those wonderful stories that Devon gave provided.  What a very thoughtful thing she did.  We expect to frame each and eventually have them hanging on the walls of the music house.  Again our thanks to Devon and everyone who has donated to our cause …keeping kids engaged and passionate about music & art along with many other things.

When the rain came, we sang & danced

Even though it was rained out we managed to have a little fun at the Li’l Stone Music House where we sang, danced and ate well.    Thanks to Jesse Basque, Salvatore Pace and especially Cat Connor who had stretched her voice to the limit the night before at Karaoke and still gave us her all.   It sure was fun.

Glen Burke was so moved by the oldies he hoisted himself from his walker + oxygen to dance with Janet.  We all love our “Old TV man” (Glen ran Burke’s TV for 50 years).

Check out the music & dancing here!
