Makers & Movies

MakerSpace yesterday with hosts Tim Roush & Travis Aleman who encouraged some very excited kids. Each youth came up with their own creation to make, which was cool. They all had their own creative ideas and got right to it.

Afterward we played the Minions Movie in the front room. We were going to wait til dark but instead brought the movie projector and screen in the music room (where it was plenty dark) and the kids kicked back. Stan made a huge 5 gallon bucket of popcorn and every morsel went into tummies along with some orange juice and turkey/tomato/avocado rollups. Thank you Stan for all the popcorn it was just like theatre style.

It was great to see Michael and Bea show up later with Jimi’s small guitar he’d recently purchased, altered by Michael (lowered the bridge) for easier playing. Thank you Michael for helping out the music house.
