Turtle oven gets a new hat!

That Maya (CSU art director on sabbatical) is an amazing artist and worker of clay.  Monday we finished the roof/shelter for the clay oven and …wow this oven looks so cool.   She brought us a larger piece of tin for the roof because the one she brought was too small.   Patrick screwed it down today and we are now finished the shelter for this awesome clay/cob oven.  What a great contribution to the yard! Thank you Maya fir giving us something to cook in for years to come. We’ll plaque it as “Maya’s Oven!”   This Saturday we’ll be lighting the oven for the first time.  Please come join us for music and food at 824 E 5th St.  from 4 pm to 9 pm.
