Community comes together for Cinco de Mayo!

It was a great day for kids big and small as we all enjoyed a parade ending with festivities in Bradford Park. As the parade was starting to form, Floyd, Frankie, Edward & Steve showed up to help organize the lineup and they did an awesome job.   With a variety of car clubs sporting their cool rides, motor bikes, Cricket, Career Building Academy, Pueblo House, the Fire Dept. and Occupy the Roads we made our way up 8th St. across LaCrosse and into the park without incident.

The day ended well, from pony rides, a bounce house, great music (country, blues & rap) and mural painting we had entertainment for all ages. The car show really did “Shine & Show”.   Our MC’s J.C. and Cat did an outstanding job.  The day ended with kids painting the wall surrounding the track where we hope to maintain tradition each year.  All in all, it was a great family day in East Pueblo! Thank you to everyone who donated, participated and made this day possible.
